Oh hell no! No band after the 70's is going to have a lifetime of success. It's not that the rare band from the 80's or 90's doesn't have some quality to it's credit, it's because the 70's was the last era of innovation. Everything since is just remakes of old themes. I wish it weren't true, but it is. I miss bands like The Who, Led Zeppelin, and The Rolling Stones.

i didnt know they were still around i liked them years ago but they were never able to change there sound and adapt, i dont think so, the thing with the rolling stones is that they were able to play over a wide range of styles. i just dont see it happening with linkin park

That really depends on whether or not the members of the band can learn to continuously deal with each other and with the stresses imposed upon them by the music industry.
