it is so called, because of the holes in the leaves which make it resemble the swiss cheese emental

There is no plant called as cheese plant-the only coagulated milk pressed into a firm mask.well if you are talking about coagulated milk! I think you know better than me.LOL

BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE NO SENSE TO CALL IT AN EGG PLANT. AND TOMATOE PLANT IS ALREADY TAKEN.
