There won't be any episodes 7, 8 or 9, but George Lucas is planning both an animated series and a live action show (will be set for the 18 year gap between episodes 3 and 4) to begin in 2007.

Sorry. Star Wars has been wrapped up and there may be books out but unless the interest is rekindled 20 years from now with different actors and producers there's not much chance.

There has been reference to them on-line but its unlikely. The Star Wars encyclopedia gives a general future look into what would happen. Like Luke setting up a new Jedi academy and Chewbaccas relatives as well as Lei and Han getting married. As well as the emperors evil clone.

lOl All the experts doubted another trilogy.. The movies are gonna he epic! And just for those of you who said Peter Jackson won't make another middle earth film.. It just came out that he is more than likely going to revisit middle earth in the future. Make in a series or another trilogy. But that mean parts of the silmarillion will be seen on screen as well!!!

No. It's not going to happen. This is like asking when Peter Jackson will make a Silmarillion movie. The answer is NEVER. It's almost like asking when Indiana Jones 4 will come out, but that answer is ten years after Harrison Ford is dead.
