I have tried directly through the Graphics card via rca(Composite), but it is very pixalated. The only way I get a good picture is if i connect my tv to pc and record playstation from that. But i don't want two outputs, just a pc monitor.

I had that same problem when i hooked my ps2 to my pc...the only solution that i came up with was to grab a pci tv card for my comp. I picked one up, installed it and the drivers. When i hooked the ps2 up to the card the graphics where fine no pixels and i didn't even have to spend that much for a pci tv card. that to me was the quickest and simplest solution for me. if you want to check it out, look some up on www.pricewatch.com. i picked my card up on sale for 16.99 with free shipping. good luck and at least check out the site if you haven't already.

If the picture is pixelated it probably is due to the fact your monitor has a higher resolution compared to the playstation output. Another way is to get a screen recorder(makes movies from screen capture) utility, and a playstation emulator. Play the game in the emulator and use the screen recorder to capture it.

If it is a ps1 game you're trying to record use epsxe ( http://www.epsxe.com/ ) if it is ps2 I have no idea of what ones work.(epsxe can run the games from legal ps1 discs).
