Radical Muslims in the Middle East hate us because of our freedom of religion. They want everybody to live under Islamic law. They also hate us because of our support for Israel. They hate Jews a lot and don't believe that Israel has the right to exist.

We are not as free as we once were. That is due to many things: terrorism, rampant government, and laziness. Terrorists force us to be afraid, and therefore we take away our own freedoms. Rampant government control of EVERYTHING takes away rights daily. And our own laziness to stand up against these two issues means we are stripping ourselves of our own freedoms.
The people who hate us do not hate our freedom, they do not hate us because we are "rich" (sort of like how a person making $100,000 a year but has $150,000 a year in debt is rich). They are upset because they fear we are trying to take away what they believe to their very core. For those Christians out there. What if someone came into your Holy Land and said to you, we are here to force you to bow to our ways. We are here to act in direct defiance of your believes and by the way, we are going to kill you if you disagree with us. This is what has happened to the muslims for a very long time.
Now, does that make it ok for them to kill? No. And most of them do not. Saying the terrorists represent all muslims is like saying Pat Robertson represents all Christians. It just is not true. Or like saying Britney Spears represents all singers. Just not true.
However, because we do not hear about the peaceful muslims and all we hear about the Quran is the misquotes (blah blah blah kill the infidels...btw I have read it...it DOES NOT SAY THAT) we grow to fear them and therefore we grow to hate them.
For all those out there who have a heart, think of the children. Think of what you would do if you saw your mother and father and brother and sister and all of your family and friends being murdered by these strangers in your land. You would grow up hating them too. And that kind of hatred drives people to do crazy things. Why do you think we are in Iraq? In Afghanistan? Has everyone forgotten that bin Laden (ya know the one who planned those attacks?) is STILL alive and STILL on the loose? Five years later.
Go ahead, call me a traitor and a hippie and a commie and a liberal. I don't care. Because I have my morals on my side. And I do not judge you for your misconceptions. And I also vote republican (I am the one they don't like to talk about....)

there are free Muslims living in the US,, and oppressed former rich and powerful dead in the Middle East,, our president has lied to invade Iraq,, so do Americans want to keep killing people based on the lies of George W Bush and his Republican administration,, where is the honor in fighting and dying for the lies of our power hungry

They hate us because of all the dead in Iraq. Because of all the dead in Palestine. In Lebanon. They hate us because we overthrough their free government in Iran and replaced it with a monarchy ruled by a shah. They hate us because of the Iranian airbus, the first gulf war. Gauntanamo bay... and many other reasons...
Don't assume that they don't have a reason for hating us, with what we've done to them, I would be very surprised if they didn't hate us.

by the way there are more Muslims in Indonesia and china then the middle east

Those who believe it is their duty to spread their faith by force hate us because we do not except their beliefs. Note: not all Muslims hate us.

Because our political leaders have treated them in derrogatory manners, not respecting their millenial culture.
When you get to know grassroots, you learn that they are the most hospitalarian people ever. Too sad that leaders empower themselves and drag the citizens along into their messes...
