Do I need gear oil for my quad?

I have a 93 mojave kawasaki 250 and I know where the oil goes but do I need to put gear oil or anything it has a clutch ?? thanks

only in the differentials. Should not have to be changed often though. Some go near thier useful lives and never change it though i do not recomend that.
