You know in MATRIX, where a bald, naked Mr. Anderson is hooked up to the hoses (neck and spine), and the robot machine comes and unhooks him? And he gets flushed out, into a river, or giant sewer? THOSE ARE THE TUBES ! ! !
There's more than one because there's just a lot of stuff considered 'no good'.

We are going completely to sh*t... There are no tubes it's just a saying, but if anything they lead to that giant cesspool in society, or something.
