im 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant... i get stomachaches pretty often, i know that with some pregnancies people get diahrrea, but i'm experiencing both, is this common?

You poor thing, I am 3 weeks behind ya! Isn't diarrhoea a sign that the baby is coming very soon? The body likes to give itself a natural enema to get rid of any unwanted waste. Good luck!

Usually diarrhea that late in pregnancy is a sign that labor is coming soon. Be sure and drink lots of fluids and go ahead and call your doc just to be safe.

Oh, my heart goes out to you! If your ready for the baby to come and the Dr says that its o.k have sex! GO FOR IT! I know you may feel uncomfortable considering your current condition. Call the Dr like everyone advises and also ask him about moving things along. Good luck and may your delivery be a safe and joyful one.
