I have two or three cool .com domain names that I don't really use but I don't know how to sell them for the best profit. Is ebay a good option or should I use a professional company who would take a percentage? I haven't got a clue - thanks!

P.S. The names I think could be worth something are:
blackwitch.com
mysticrhythms.com
hotchpotch.com
lazypig.com

If they are very basic ones (root level) like beer.com or music.com then they have value and you should be able to sell them to agencies that specialize in that (for a surprisingly large amount of money). If they are of only sentimental value or are very obscure then no one is likely to want to deal with you. Why not add a comment to your question with the names and you should be able to encourage a pro to email you.

Selling on eBay is really bottom level desperation. You would end up selling for a nominal value to somebody who would then turn around immediately and try to resell for much more than they gave you.

Pros, by the way, would deal so that you end up with a high value site. They can not only take a percentage but also develop the value of the site by proper marketing so that you are getting a share of a bigger pie than you thought.
