My baby is 2.5 months old and i went through the same thing and tried all these things mentioned above. I finally went to the ER and they gave her a gylcerin suppository and she pooped within 2 minutes. Get some vasoline and "infant suppositories" at say a pharmacy or a grocery store, put some vasoline on the suppository and slowly enter it into her rear end, and be prepared for a poop fest. It works every time

you said you tried Karo Syrup, you should make sure that it was DARK Karo otherwise all you did was dose your baby with sugar, you should ask the doctor before you give her any juice because she is probably too young to digest the natural fruit sugars and it will just make her sick. If the Karo hasn't worked yet try giving her a warm bath and letting her soak for a while it will relax the bowels and help the stool pass easier. After the bath massage her stomach lightly with her legs elevated toward her chest. This will open up the passageways too. And as for feeling bad it happens and she will probably hurt for a while depending on how long it's been going on but just hang it there. If nothing works within a few days, talk to her doctor about and enema.

What kind of formula is the baby on? I know that my kids tolerate different kinds better. Is your baby on Similac, the maybe try Good Start (my kids were more regular when they ate that). If that doesn't work then try Soy products. Your baby is possibly lactose intolerant (especially that she is constipated already so badly). When your try a different formula you should notice a difference within a day or two (I can tell by the next day because the stool is usually darker and harder with Similac, with Good Start it is softer and lighter). Good luck and I hope she feels better soon!

I used to give my kids prune juice but 1 month might be a little young. Fleet suppositories come in a child size and it's not the most appealing thing to do but it gets very quick results. Before you do anything call the pediatrician and ask them what to do. Even on the weekends, most offices have a nurse on call that you can speak with.

What really helped my son is to get a thermometer and really lube it up with Vaseline and stick in the butt like you are going to take a temperature. Leave it in just a few moments and she should start to push. Turn the thermometer around and lube the area well so when it does come out it will come out more smooth. Just don't go too far in. I hope this helps. It usually helps within minutes. Best of luck!

My daughter was also a very constipated baby .What l did was to make her formula with chamomile tea instead of water.lf your baby isn't bothered by the slight change in the taste,it should do the trick.l would tell you to give it to your baby without the formula but it might affect her appetite for her milk,so it's best to give it with the milk. Two bottles should do the trick.Don't make the camomile too strong because you might have the opposite effect.Camomile is good for new borns it helps them with colic as well.

I've tried everything too when one of my children was constipated.
Karo syrup didn't work for us. All you can give your baby at this young age is water. Boiled First and then cooled. You can also try prune juice, mixed with water.

Prune juice. Keep doing the legs thing. If she's on formula, may need to change that. Good luck - mine was this way, too for months. We kept changing formulas, then finally at four months just put him on homo milk and everything was solved!

Apple and prune juice can help, also they say to rub the babys belly in a circular motion.

You have to give each treatment a good 12-24 hours before trying another.
