Ballistics is the science that deals with motion, more specifically the motion of projectiles. I study forensic science and we study firearm ballistics, so the projectiles I deal with are bullets.

It could be an expert, or a report written by an expert, it is a study of projectile(Usually spent Bullet).
This is how police match the bullet taken from a victim to a gun shot, to a gun that may have been recovered.
