I will be moving to Dallas January 2007 and really would like to lease from a gay landord in Oak Lawn. Anyone know of any and how to contact them?

Are you really sure that you want to move to Dallas? From the type of responce you got to a legitimate question it sounds like homophobia is alive and thriving in the Lone Star State. Good Luck.

Personally am NOT gay,but what about talking to local Real Estate Agents,checking newspaper ads,placing an ad in local newspaper,going to local gay bars,checking into gay websites,am sure there are gay organizations in the area. Hope these help,good luck and mainly use your head in making any decisions,check the landlord out with BBB and ask for references to be sure they are legit,ok? Happy hunting :)

Isn't that wrong? It would be illegal if a landlord only rented to a gay person.Kinda reverse discrimination to me. But my opinon. good luck with your move
