All of the above, really. Connections.. If you're really that desperate, then get a job in media and work your way up or get into movies (work or marriage!). By the time you get to the stage of attending premieres, you'll realise that they're not as cut up as they're made out to be and it's the media that hype these up to make the stars become like Gods.
Another source is any of the auction sites. I attended the 'Kong' UK premiere (my friend was in it) and I noticed that someone was selling 2 tickets to the after-show party on eBay, which eventually went for about £220, if I remember correctly.
As the film was 2.3 hours long and the venue was a 10 minute walk from the cinema in Leicester Square, it was well after 11pm when the party started and none of the stars turned up (they had to fly out overnight for another premiere in Asia), and most people started leaving at around midnight!
Money well spent, eh?

write to the movie houses or stars directly and give them a legitimate reason...you work for a charity or church, your a fan..in other words no commercial gain...no one likes to be used

i have gone to premieres with the stars there in new york and london....i dunno how to my dad is the one that gets the tickets...i guess you need to have connections.
