This is an emergency solution - copy paste prom me! I think your keyboard is malfunctioning. Maybe you need to buy a new one. Or maybe it's a virus!?
I wish I could help more!

For the time being, use the on screen keyboard option that comes with windows xp. Start - Programs - Accessories - Accessibility - On screen keyboard.

Try shaking off the dust and dirt of your keyboard, use a hair dryer or get it checked and see if it can be fixed.

It actually sounds like somebody may have spilled something on your keyboard and shorted out some of the letters. This sounds crazy, but try drying it out with a hairdryer for half an hour.

I spilled some tea on mine and some of the keys won't work now either. I was going to ask a question about how to fix it too...I hate using the onscreen keyboard..one mouse click at a time..such a pain.ughhh

I think the time has arrived to take a brief jaunt to the local friendly Circuit City or Comp USA to inquire about the purchase of a brand new functional plug 'n' play keyboard!
