Could be the Catalytic Converter. Many, Many$$$

Sounds like you have a clogged fuel filter. This is normally found along the drivers side under the car about midway along the frame on most cars. It's inexpensive to change and is probably due for one at this point.

Does the check engine light come on...if so it could still be the fuel filter but it could also be the TPS (throttle position sensor)

Give more information on the year and make of the car and I can maybe help you out more.

Could be a number of things, clogged exhaust, clogged fuel filter whatever. need more details, car make model and year is a good start.

ps... did this just start all of a sudden or gradually? After you got gas? Was there a problem with the car bfore this? Is there black smoke coming from tailpipe?

Speed sensor has died! Time to have it towed to the mechanic, unless you can go 30MPH or lesss to get there. It's a pretty painless bill....about $100 w/ labor.

Sounds like it is not getting enough fuel. Possible fuel pump or fuel delivery problem. A better diagnosis is needed. It could be many things.

Sounds like your looking at some transmission work. It would be nice if you told us Year, Make, Model.
