Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test

The odds..... I've heard it put before like this... "If your standing in a room and a couple hundred million bullets are coming straight at you, What are the chanches of you geting hit?"

You can get pregnant with having sex only one time. Once your egg is released it is alive for 24 hours. And sperm can live up to about 4 days inside of you.

On another note you can have sex on your fertile days and not get pregnant. Sometimes it takes a few months, sometimes it doesn't.

My experiences are with my son I got pregnant the very first time. I know this because we had only had sex 2 times that month.

And another pregnancy was with a couple of months of trying.

Good luck!

It depends on a number of factors, your age is a big factor over the age of 30 you only have like a 7% chance or so getting pregnant in you early 20 you have a 70 to 90 percent chance. All I can say is keep trying, and good luck

there are too many variables- age and health of both, diet, lifestyle etc. Most docs won't even worry if you have been trying for a year, even if you have sex at the right time of the month. Even if you do get preg, there is a 1 in 3 chance it will miscarry, most often even before you miss your period. You just have to get on and keep trying.

PS it has been shown children born into married families do best mentally and physically for their whole lives

Calm down! just wait and see and enjoy the time you spend trying, chances are if there are no problems it will only take a couple of months and pretty soon you'll have very little time to yourself. Relax, to much stress can have an adverse affect when trying for a baby.

Good luck

If your GP helped work out the dates then he should be close. Remember you have to keep on trying. It can take some people years and others seconds. Remember if there is pressure on stress you can hamper the fertility process. Good luck,

Like Lauren said and like so many other questions on here, not nearly enough information to make even an educated guess!
In case you hadn't noticed it takes two to tango hunny and 50% of it is his sperm count and condition of health of the sperm. If they're not strong enough, they wont be able to make the final swim into your reproductive organs = no baby!

All I can say is that doing what your doing is one of the ways to increase your chances. A point to consider though. Never have sex to make a baby. Have sex for fun, get right into it, really enjoy it and make loads of noise. Make the baby a secondary thing. Tension in both of you due to the pressure mounting on your boyfriend getting you pregnant is only likely to retard and slow things down?

Apparently the best time to get pregnant is 14 days before your period, so get your calculator out! Erm just a question but shouldn't you be thinking of living your life before having babies? Maybe even get married, have a career? Then have babies? Maybe wait and see if the boy you are with is the one!??

heres a tip......dont just have sex to have a baby, it probably wont happen if its constantly on your mind! have fun and enjoy yourselves, just have sex a few times a week and it may happen sooner than you think!
the chances that you are pregnant now are 50/50 just do a test when your next due a period!!

good luck!
