Wow, that was classic, I'm still laughing. For those of you who actually took this question seriously, or who knows...maybe it was a serious question but here it goes:
The term practise does not mean the same thing in a professional field. Practise simply refers to what your doctor does on a daily basis. Seeing his patients, providing diagnoses, etc. I really hope nobody actually needed this explanation and if they did then God help us all!

the same could be said of solicitors i suppose as they practice law, but here's an interesting fact for you that you may not know, in China the patient pays the doctor a nominal fee each week, they only stop paying if they become ill and while they are being treated. so if you want to save money in China stay ill, what a great excuse for hypochondriacs lol

One would naturally think that practice makes perfect.
However in the case of the medical and legal professions it can certainly be argued that practice makes IMperfect. Eventually.
Interestingly both medical and legal professions can also be responsible for killing you by their incompetence.
Hope this goes someway to answering your enquiry my crystal ball is on loan to the early diagnosis dept in my local hospital. Usually after sufficient years of practicing these professions. both promote you to positions of absolute power in the hope that your mistakes will be buried. Although judges have some success at this, the out and out champsions at burying their mistakes are definitely doctors!

That is an absolute, WELL DUH! If any one has been practicing something for a long time, most likely he or she is better at it when finished.
