do you know what you want to study in college or university?

Question

will you be going to school knowing exactly what you are studying? or are you one of those students who is going into whatever because you are unsure. how many of you know what you want to do? are you or have you already studied what you wanted. did you get into the program of your choice?...etc
just curious

I already know what iwant to study...i'm studying it right now...ARCHITECTURE and i am enjoying it very much. I just know too many fellow students who are in college and don't know why. mostly because their parents pushed them to go.

another question: are you in a program your parents have pushed you to study?

When I went to college, I changed my major. I thought I wanted to do psychology then I switched to speech pathology. But when I graduated, I decided I wanted to try to get a Masters in Special Education. Then I didn't like that so I decided to get a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I'm glad I did. I am almost finished with it and I know it's what I want to do. But I just want to say, don't rush into something. Take your general studies courses first and get them out of the way, then worry about choosing a major.

I am going to go in and study Mechanical Engineering and possibly Electrical Engineering.

yeah at school i did business studies with other subjects and this was my favourite so i continued to do it at univeristy only started end of septemebr doing a business and management course 3 years in englnd..
its amazing HARD but amazing

my major for college is Criminalogy or Criminal Justice, History, or Political Science.
I've have to decide a.s.a.p. due to some colleges/universities want to know on there applications.
