Have a Halloween party. use your garage if you have one.. make a maze for a mini haunted house.. use old mattress to walk across...or just have a party with silly games...like...cook spaghetti place in bowl after cooled with rubber snakes, get some fake rubber spiders in another container with jello, dried leaves from the yard with flour and sugar mixed in, buy Nickelodeon slime put in another with fake eyeballs...cover each one so they can not see and have them guess what it is. If they get it right they get a prize. Instead of bobbing for apples have them bob for hard boiled eggs. Play pin the bone in the right spot on the skeleton. Make a pumpkin bean bag toss but they have to use pumpkin seeds to spit into the open spaces on the pumpkin face. Few ideas for you. I hope the kids have a wonderful time.

I always let my kids dress up, make or buy a costume so they can wear to school or around the house...they still get a kick out of make believe. But, I bought the goodies I wanted them to have....and I took them on a trip to the toy store. This seemed to be a lot safer and the kids got everything Halloween fun has to offer.
