I am 45 and am full blown perimenopause, Irregular periods usually start off the process, later on the sweating, bloating, moodiness. I had to go on an antidepressant with my diagnosis. I became depressed. I didn't have a period for 1 and one half years then all of a sudden, boom. For awhile I was having one every 17 days and bleeding alot more than usual.
Please go to your doc and they can blood test you to see what your hormone levels are.
good luck, it is a pain.

Nope, you're probably 8 to 10 years away from it. Symptoms are usually really whacky periods...a blood test will tell.
