I thought of sunflowers rather than any other flowers because they seem not to have any romantic connotation - and they look nice around the place. Otherwise how about getting her a plant for her flat?

Sunflowers are happy, bright and whimsical. Just what a person needs to cheer them up. A plant is boring and mechanical. The sunflowers show that you have some creativity and imagination.

I think you have a great idea - sunflowers are "happy" flowers, big and colorful. And, you can never go wrong with a plant, which, of course, will be a longer reminder of the good friend you seem to be.

Sunflowers would be perfect!

I think you can also buy grow-your-own sunflower kits that might be fun :-)

What a nice idea. And lucky her to have a friend like you!

Aaw, what a sweet friend you are. She will be delighted to receive sunflowers, and yes, it would cheer her up to know someone cares for her.
