Most of the pills on the market now do not cause weight gain. If you start to gain weight then talk to your Dr. and switch pills. I was put on the pill for the same reason as you as a teen, my weight stayed steady for awhile, and then I got more active and actually lost weight. If you do happen to gain weight then you can lose it the ways you talked about, but really, I doubt you'll gain weight unless you start eating more or become less active.

Personally, I think it's just this thing that they tell you to make you think that if you gain weight while you're on the pill that it's normal and a side effect and a reason for you to eat more because you think you're gonna gain weight anyways. If you eat right and exercise, you shouldn't have problems with weight.

yes that is true, that taking pill tablets make you gain weight.
it depends on you, when i was taking pill tablets i didn't gain any weight, so if you think you have gained weight then you should consult with your doctor for another brand.
And your so your young to be taking pills.
if you do gain weight you can always put it off, by exercising, its not something that will cant be helped.

birth control pills are not associated with any significant weight gain. its an old wives tale and an excuse for lazy girls who eat too much and want to blame something else. the depo shot is good for 20 or 30 pounds though.

really, that's a lie. I was on the pill for the same reason and when i started i was122lbs and when i stopped hadn't gained a pound. I hate it when people are mis-guided, don't worry 'bout a thing.
