Forbidden fruit first referred to the apple Eve was supposed to have given Adam from the tree of knowledge. However these days, it is more to do with sexual relationships with those you should not engage with sexually, or other forbidden pleasures.
For the other phrase The pupil of the eye was thought to be a solid object and was actually called the apple, therefore if you thought somebody was special, they were the apple of your eye (perhaps because you were always looking at them). This site gives the first mention as in the King James Bible, but says it existed before then.

Forbidden fruit is anything that you cannot have or is taboo. Originally, it refers to the fruit God told Adam and Eve not to eat. You are the apple of my eye means someone really likes you. To me it has nothing to do with beauty, but perhaps it talks about the eye because it was originally about what you saw. Apples are very delicious.

Forbidden fruit refers to the apple or quince that grew in the garden of Eden. The term has been transferred into meaning anything which it is wrong to touch/have (forbidden)

Both are references to God's admonition to Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit from the tree of knowledge. The term Forbidden Fruit, can mean anything that someone is denied but wants badly. Sex for teens is an example. When someone talks about someone, or something, being the Apple of their Eye, they mean something they desire badly. It isn't necessarily denied them, but it may be something they are yet striving for.

Forbidden fruit is a parable emphasizing that if there is something out there that you would lust over, but is really out of your mental and moral expectations. You are tempted by it just as eve was tempted to the tree of life. example would be lusting over your best friends wife, or for that fact anybody's wife. They are forbidden fruit because they are already taken by another.
The Apple of my eye is meaning that you have one person who is really doted on by you. Like a teachers pet. Or like the Smothers brothers. Tommy would always say to Dick that Mom always like you best!!

If you are naive enough to think the forbidden fruit was an apple, take an antimony course.

Forbidden fruit refers to the adam and eve story in the garden of eden--it was the fruit God forbade them to eat or they would be cast of paradise. "The apple of my eye" refers to someone special, someone you would like to go on a date with, fall in love with, etc.
