I can't stand when people who are charged with a crime plead "No Contest". I mean it's quite simple if you ask me. Either you admit that you did the crime in which case you plead "guilty" or you didn't do it or just want to try and get out of it, in which case you plead "Not Guilty". Yet other defendants use this lame and cowardly "No Contest Plea' and legally that's supposed to leave the questin of guilt up in the air. Not for me. Using that cop-out just tells me your guilty but you don't have the guts to try and fight the charge. If I were judge, jury and executioner, the "No Contest Plea" and the "Guilty Plea" would be one in the same. In fact, I'd probably abolish the "No Contest" Plea all together because I think it's completely bogous. Also, those baseball players who were made to testafy before congress,.McGuire and Sosa avoided all the questions with the stupid "Pleading the 5'th" thing. That automatically tells me their guilty too. If not, then why not then why not give anwers

I entered a plea like this, actually called a no lo contender in lawyer speak. I was in a boat backing it off trailer to tie on ramp. Brand new boat. Paperwork left in truck and wife was bringing it to me. Redneck water patrol refused to let her hand it to me and cited me for running a boat without paperwork in lieu of registration. Went to court and contested it. Judge threw it out due to extenuating circumstances. Law is not all black and white. That's why we have Judges and Juries. As for McGuire and Sousa, they and I live in this wonderful place called America. We have this little document called a Constitution and many amendments thereto. Don't know your loation but in the US we are not required to say anything that may incriminate ourselves. Hint: if arrested or even questioned in US, request a lawyer regardless of how you feel. Cops and DA have looong histories of twisting things around. Brother a lawyer, I know you wouldn't want your sister to marry him. Don't worry, he's Gay. Love him anyway!

I don't understand what your concern is. A "no contest" plea under California law and most other states has the same legal effect as a plea of guilty. It shows up as a conviction and the court can sentence the defendant just as if he or she had plead guilty.

I accept as true with the different answerer's - she could have insulted the somewhat some formula feeders interior the previous. I nursed the two considered one of my teenagers. My daughter for 6 months, son for 10 months...then i had to start up supplementing formula. i'm pleased with nursing my teenagers yet i don't sense that i'm extra useful than a formula feeder bc of it. we are each physique with diverse circumstances. i've got self assurance that each mom could a minimum of attempt to bf yet once you attempt and it would not artwork out, you mustn't cause them to sense undesirable. Breastfeeding is something to be pleased with, yet bragging approximately it fairly is taking it too far.

Jesus H. Christ on rocket powered roller skates man, have you never heard of the presumption of innocence? I guess this is why nobody is allowed to be judge jury and executioner.
Chill out. Anyway, McGuire and Sosa, it's only a game.

you want the whole story? i got a ticket for "driving in marked lanes." i got into the middle turn lane, decided not to turn, then inched forward and turned my right turn signal on. a sheriff pulled up next to me and turned his lights on. what??!! it was at 1 in the morning, there was no one else on the road. i got a ticket. i pleaded no contest. "no contest" to me means i don't agree with this bs ticket, but i would rather pay the fine than to waste my time and my breath with this any longer.
