Three, two female who I would trust with my life and my husband, I know lots of people who I say are friends, but would not trust them, to keep a secret.
True friendship is a very special thing, and it can take some time to find those who deserve your trust, the one friend, I have known for 8 yrs, the other 2yrs, my husband 10. I have been hurt alot in the past, and let down by people I had put my trust in, and put alot into the friendships to have it thrown back in my face, but never give up hope that you will find a true friend, they do exist, but be careful, and dont spill all straightaway.
It takes time, energy and heart to make a friendship work.

You only find out who your true friends are when you need help or in trouble. Then your true friends will be there to help. Sometimes the people you think will help aren't always the ones that do. I've got about 3 or 4 real friends, who I can tell anything.

[I] think most of all have many friends, buddies, and acquaintances, but have very few if only 1 that you can tell everything to. Some of us have "soul friends" that are there for life through any crap good times and bad times. Those are the ones that you hold on to no matter what.

about 3. Everyone elae ia a pal, mate, whatever. It is important to realise that true friends are very few and far between. That is not to say that you can't have many 'mates' but they are not the same.

You know, those are really hard to come by these days. I feel like the only people i can REALLY TRULY trust is my family...but I guess maybe I have 1 friend that I am close enough to that I can trust like that...I suppose I consider her family.

I have a lot of acquaintances but only 1 true friend. That`s all anyone really needs.

I know how you feel, You think you have all these friends but really they do 't care!!! You should always keep an open mind and try not to trust anybody too much cos you end up getting hurt!! always trust and believe in yourself! xxx
