I am 14 years old and I love books about romance and drama. I would like to read a book that is narrated by a teen that is older than me. Just so you know, I've already read:
Aimee
Speak
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul
and
Like the Red Panda
and i don't like series books

Romance/drama books are good. I'm 14 too so I understand.

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It's about this girl who was raped and murdered and she's in heaven now. She's 14 years old and the story is told through her point of view. Talking about how her killer is trying to cover his tracks and how her family is coping with her death.

The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares is good too. Though it is a series it has its shares in dram and Romance.

Stargirl by Jerri Spinelli is a good read. It has a sense of drama and romance.

The Gossip Girl Series by Cecily Von Ziegesar is filled with Romance and Drama. You may not like series books but this may change your mind because its completely centered about Drama and Romance set in the east coast about this teenagers who go to private schools.

The A List by Zoey Dean is just like Gossip Girls only its set in California with Hollywood celebrities added in.

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen is also a good read in this genre.

Yea.. that's all I have right now. Hopefully it helps.

IMO one of the best books around for a teen is Watership Downs by Richard Adams. Sorry don't know any others narrated by teens. But The Hardy Boy's, or Nancy Drew books are pretty good too

These might be considered series books but the Outsiders was one of my favorite when I was younger.. Well I still like them and I am old. haha Guess its not narrated by a teen neither. I think I flunked this question.

Well, maybe you can read novels. I already do. It challenges the mind in a kind of way. You can even red this novel: "And then there were None" its a Horror/Murder novel. Its really good though.
