I went to starbucks an hour ago i ordered a venti iced coffee i gave the the guy at the counter 20 dollars i turned my head for a 1 minute looked back the guy said i gave him one dollar i went crazy and said you must be F-ing with me he said honest to god u gave me a dollar and im a god fearing person so i belived him but i counted my money again and realized i was 20 dollars short should i have asked for the manager or something im so stupid

Honey, the Venti Ice Coffee is more than a buck at Starbucks so I know you gave him the twenty!
HE should have been honest with you and gave you back the change. Yes, you should have asked for the manager because that just was not right! Sorry for your loss.

sounds like a case of he said she said
you could've gone to the manager and left your name and number, and he could've called you back at the end of the day when they balanced out the cash drawer and saw they had $19 more than they should have
of course, if the clerk pocketed the $19 during the day, then a balancing of the cash register at the end of the day would've shown nothing

visit that starbucks againand ask for the maneger, explain the situation to him very nicely, and add really politly if the next time I have my cup of coffee and that is soon, this guy is still working in this store I report bothe you and him to starbucks head office

You should have brough over the manager right away. They could count his cash register to see if he was over or short before it went too far.

yea you should have just asked for the manager and they should have recounted the drawer for you because i worked at a food lion and everytime someone thought that they got the wrong change back or anything we would have to count the drawer and then give them their change back

1st of all there must be cam's there so u can check if he lies to you or not.....
2nd they r starbucks!!!! u know how much they steal money from us u r really stupid if u dont go again and take ur money back!!!!
