NO way the billion people population that we have right now is a placing a major strain on our natural resources. The more the population grows the more, violence, poverty and diseases we will have. Look at Africa, one way to deal with the situation in Africa is for people to control the population for themselves, have protected sex, less people means less strain on resources, which mean less violence and corruption.

I think I read once that a 'trillion' is one thousand billions. If that is correct and with the understanding that right now the world population is about 6.6 billion, I don't see how the world population could ever reach one of those trillion deals. It does not seem possible to me that there would be enough food and other resources for so many billions of people.

I don't see why not unless the world is so overpopulated that there is just no more room for anybody...in which case we're going to have to look for settlements on other planets and on the moon of course.

i believe that our planet will purge itself of us long before we get to 1 trillion through disease and natural disasters.
