Because its farther away. Planetary orbits are not circular but you can still think about it in terms of a circle. The longer the radius of the circle, the larger the circumference.

The planets move in an orbit that is slightly different from a circle called an elliptical orbit. The farther away it is from the sun. The wider the radius is so its like the difference b/w the time it takes to go round a small circle and a much bigger one.
Also the sun exerts a magnetic force on the planets causing them to spin in their orbit, the further away it is the less the force. so the uranus which is farther away from the sun will spin slower than the earth. Hope this is sufficient

i could think of if Uranus is in Earth orbit, all of its gaseous atmosphere would be blown away by way of the photograph voltaic wind, and what's left is a sprint rocky ball the size of our Moon. Keplars third law states the the ratio of the cube of the distance and the square of the period is constant for any planet within the system. As Uranus is much further from the sun than the earth its period much be longer.

its radius from the sun is greater than that of the earth. therefore the distance it has to orbit is greater. and in this case and most, the more further away something is the longer it takes to get there.

wat did you say about my sons anus. Just kidding. I think it is because it is farthe away from the sun than earth so that means it's orbut is much larger and therefore takes a lot longer
