I love making the gifts I give. It gives me something to do, and it is less time I have to spend in the stores shopping. But I also like to shop, so some do get gifts I bought.

I love to make gifts too. I will buy certain things, especially for the kids, but for friends and family, I like to make things. People have actually come expect it from me. I think some would be disappointed if I just bought something for them, and that makes me feel good. Plus, it's a great way to guarantee they won't get two of the same thing. I do the same for birthday parties and baby showers. I have this secret fear of showing up at a party with the same gift as someone else. That happened once and I was so embarrassed. I don't know why.....but that doesn't happen with home made gifts.
Any way have a great Christmas and happy crafting!

Gifts that you have made will mean more sentimentally then bought gifts. Here in America we are spoiled, and usually buy what we want/need. So homemade gifts are always special in my book. Hope this helps.

I do the same thing. I usually give baked goods as gifts to people that I don't buy gifts for like distant relatives and give the baked good in addition to bought gifts for immediate family.

It depends on several things:
-the budget
-the person to whom I am giving a gift
-how 'inspired' I am at the time
-how much time I have to dedicate to it.

I enjoy making gifts, but I also like to give people things that they wouldn't buy for themselves.

$a million isn't very lots of money. perhaps you need to take the a number of soaps which you get in motels and wrap them mutually right into a splash set. you may make christmas tree adorns. Or verify on wikihow for selfmade provides. reliable success! Merry Christmas!?
