No, especially since according the the way you worded your question this has not happened yet, which means you're planning it in this public forum.
If you try it and sue for damages your employer's insurance company will hire people to do computer searches. They will get the records from Yahoo, including Yahoo Answers, which will clearly show your prior intent to defraud the company even if you delete this question. You will be fired, be forced to pay for all your employer's fees regarding the case, and counter-sued ... not to mention the humiliation of being charged with fraud and having to spend time in prison once convicted.
Just do the job they hired you to do to the best of your ability and earn your money the old-fashioned way like the rest of us.
And remember ~ nobody likes a thief.

If you got hurt, you can file a claim ( not sue) under workers comp laws of your state. You would be paid for the medical bills, for any time off till you can return to work.

Sorry, honey, I agree completely with poster "Evil Twin". You blew it big time by adding that second post.
I was all ready to give you advice and sympathy until I read that. Now I am just angry and annoyed, because it is people like you that cause MY insurance premiums to go up.
Please take a good, long look at your lack of integrity. There is way too much of this in the world today. Be better than this!

You could but how would you feel if someone slipped in your bathroom and sued you?
You would have to prove negligence on your employers part to sue successfully. Workers comp should cover your medical bills regardless.

yeah you can sue if you sustained an injury from the fall (and if you had to have any medical work b/c of the injury) and if you can prove they didn't post any notices like "this floor is slippery or wet". if this is the case, then your chances of winning are very good.

You recovery is limited to whatever is offered by the worker's comp laws of your state. You can file a worker's comp claim, but it won't be worth much without any type of permanent injuries.

In California if you file a workmans compensation claim and you did not get hurt you go to jail.

After they send you for the drug test and show you weren't under the influence, try suing. Remember, you have to be able to prove they provided an unsafe situation.
Best wishes,
pup
