No. I consider you a wise man. Don't give me the points. I am not fishing for that. You have a real human side to you that I appreciate, and yes I will get a 360. I have been distracted with teaching and remodeling. What a pain. My wife lives for it. Just give me a 3D poster that makes the room seem bigger. I am not sure how to answer your question. How to you define wise? Is wisdom learning to understand and live with ourselves? It is a process more than a product. This is a facetious as well as a real question. To be human is to admit imperfection. True wisdom cannot be achieved or we would all be like George W. Bush(couldn't resist the jibe). All we can do is to strive to understand ourselves and that to know in the final analysis it is the effort that counts. What does having a 360 mean? Can you E-mail others? Two tin cans connected with string is high tech for me.

If you think mankind is foolish, then wise man is certainly an oxymoron. If man isn't foolish in your opinion, than it isn't an oxymoron.

no -- an oxymoron is a two-word term where the two words are seemingly in contradiction of each other. "wise man" doesn't really qualify as a good oxymoron.
A good example of an oxymoron would be "jumbo shrimp", since "jumbo" and "shrimp" usually mean the opposite of each other.

Absolutely not, I know some very wise men. Some wise men are also wise acres who make lots of wisecracks. I'm not mentioning any names, professor, because I am a wise woman.
