......or do we continue to embrace it under its most commonly referred to labeling. Perhaps it will never lose its meaning, this War on Terror, but for the Religious Right, it may have more impact. In fact it may work on both sides of the house as well as the middle. Because there is Good and there is Evil. Sometimes if we look at the same situation in more ways than one, we broaden our perspctive..
we see
good and we see evil.....and if we think deeply enough, we can see the EVIL within ourselves, our govenment, our country, our world. But stop. Yes. We see the evil in ourselves and our government....our country. And its a lot easier to see the EVIL in oneself and our government and our country than it is to see the TERROR within us......

Henceforth I will find it far easier to couple the Axis of Evil with the War on Evil.......It is so much better understood that way...and it serves to explain that evil emanates from many different contributors, sometimes from even our own..

So you see the "Axis of Evil" has been around for a very long time. AND.. I didn't borrow it. Bush did.
I am renaming this War on Terror.
From now on, to me, it is a
War on Evil
from wherever the source
and that is exactly what it is...

The Axis of Evil is not a new term. You are borrowing something used to refer to Germany/Italy/Japan during World War Two. People had less of a problem defining evil then: a government which promoted genocide aimed at an entire race of people (nazis vs the Jews) and totalitarian states (including Italy under Mussolini) where freedom was unknown and one where the leader was believed to be a god (Japan, Emperor Hirohito).

Sure, no one's perfect. But why are the armies of the free world today in the Middle East? 9/11? That's part of it, but if you research the issue, there have been terrorist attacks against Israel and the west for years. In 1976 terrorists representing what became the PLO took Jews hostage at Entebbe Airport in Uganda. 911 was not the first time terrorists did their thing. In the 1980's the Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran took Americans hostage and ket them for over a month.

From your post it sounds more like you think we are the evil ones, that is not the idea behind defending our nation and its people against terrorism, though it may be EVIL, we do not wish to judge their souls, only their actions. That is why it is a war on terror, they fully admit they are terrorists, though they do not think it is evil.

We are not fighting evil, we are fighting terror. Didn't The Axis of Evil include Iran and North Korea? We are not fighting them and for political reason we won't.

when you consider that devil is the god of this international, there are truly some "evil" issues happening. a lot more advantageous than solid or Evil. it is a proving floor that God will vindicate his holy call. he will tutor that he has the right to rule over his introduction. God has allowed devil and folk to attempt all sorts of governments. they have all failed.
