Personally I cant answer for the rapping part. But being a professionally wrestler locally (and Im female) you see it more locally then on tv for the simple fact that Vince does not like women wrestlers. He thinks they should be eye candy. I mean think about it when was the last time you actually saw a real wrestling match between women on the WWE. No Trish doesnt count because she only had a few moves the last few female wrestlers matches dont last more then 5 mins.
"Her in-ring career began hitting its stride by the mid 1950s, when she began calling herself “The Fabulous Moolah”. In 1956, she defeated Judy Grable in a tournament final for the vacant Women’s Championship of the world. She would go on to hold the title for the next 28 years, a feat unprecedented in the annals of human achievement.
One of the greatest achievements of this period came in 1972, when she and Vincent J. McMahon successfully beat the ban against women’s wrestling at Madison Square Garden.
In July 1984, her 28-year reign was ended in Madison Square Garden by Wendi Richter, a young competitor managed by pop star Cyndi Lauper who was at the time the female equivalent of Hogan.
Moolah began phasing out her in-ring exploits, choosing instead to manage Hawaiin Superstar Leilani Kai. With Moolah’s guidance, Kai beat Richter for the Women’s title, setting up a match between the two at the first WrestleMania in 1985. Richter would regain the gold, and it would be Moolah herself, under a mask as the “Spider Lady”, who would finally take back the championship from Wendi not long after.
Imagine the surprise of fans everywhere when in 1999, Moolah—by that time in her 70s—returned to WWE television, this time with long-time friend and fellow competitor Mae Young by her side. Then in October, at No Mercy ’99, the unthinkable happened: Moolah defeated reigning WWE Women’s Champion Ivory to win the title for the fourth time and become the oldest titleholder in the history of the sport.
She didn’t hold it long, but it was a testament to her amazing tenacity and ability that she was able to make such a miraculous comeback in the first place. She and Mae Young continue to be a part of the extended WWE family to this day." (wwe.com) Moolah and Mae (before my time) are the most domient female wrestlers who actually wrestle for longer then 5 mins. If a female wants to wrestle then more power too her but dont go to vince thinking you will get a good spot because you wont. TNA doesnt hold female wrestlers for the simple fact they dont have any The few females they have are injured and are not trained well enough to go on for Jeff Jarrett and since Jim Cornett has bought in there wont be any He is the same as Vince does not think a female should be in the ring their place is in the home their words not mine. I believe in a female wrestling and do it and im very proud of being a FEMALE WRESTLER not a diva there is a big difference a diva is for looks

Wrestlers - the writers today couldn't write main storylines for women - and where is there a credible woman ?
Chyna - 5 foot 9 & 190 pounds.
Trish Stratus 5 foot 4 & 118 pounds.
Lita 5 foot 7 & 135 pounds.
Not sure about the Fabulous Moola's statistics. But I might just have been polite to her.
Where is there a 7 foot (as in 6 foot 8 in REAL height) behemoth female that I might be intimidated by, as a guy ? I just don't get too scared by a woman that is armpit height on me.
I've seen the Big Show UP CLOSE - and he is VERY intimidating - it's the chest girth more than the height that is scary. He does seem to block out the sun.

I'm not sure about the rapping but for the wrestling part I can say it's the "dessert" portion of the WWE. Don't get me wrong WWE has had some women that can really wrestle like Chyna, Fabulous Moolah, Victoria, Jazz. But it seems that the WWE changes its tune every so often like now with Lita and Trish leaving it's toning down and putting women in their just to tease for the entertainment aspect. The girls like Candice, Maria, Melina, Krystal, Ashley-can't wrestle in my opinion. But maybe a new woman like Chyna or Jazz will come along and the fans will demand it more.

well in wrestling the women serve as "eye-candy" because only a few like Lita are actually trained wrestlers and trainers simply don't like training women unless they go out of the country (mexico/japan). As for rappers, there are many female rappers out there, maybe you're not looking hard enough.

There are plenty of female wrestlers they just aren't in the main stream. I know of plenty female rappers but most of them are taking time away to persue other things.

They are for females, if the girl wants to do it she can. Most of the time guys tell girls that they cant do it cause its a "guy" sport. My little sister loves to rap and she's better than half my friends. So if a girl wants to do it she can go ahead and do it. Just cause their's more guys than girls doing those things doesnt mean they cant.
