It can't be stopped as long as people are lonely there will always someone out there to prey on them. People have to realize that you can't stop these kind of people, but you can yourself. If you get started talking to someone over the net or real world ask yourself is this person as true as they sound. If you have any doubts then stop yourself from being taken advantage of.
