This is one of the most stupid questions I've read on here. NO, there is no blood in chocolate milk or any other kind of milk. If a cow should have an illness that causes blood in the milk, that milk is discarded. It is not going to end up on your grocer's shelf.
As far as gallons of blood passing through a cow's udder--it's not inside the udder, it's in the veins of the udder. Use some common sense.

Where in the world did you get that idea?! Chocolate milk has cocoa, chocolate, whatever in it, but not blood unless the one making it cuts a finger and stirs the milk with that finger instead of a spoon.

I've been hooked on Choc. Milk for a few months now and trying to not let myself drink to much. I am really having trouble giving it up, but after reading your question I'm not sure if I can drink another cup! Thanks....I guess!
Ok, this really made me want to look into this, I found a website that says it does not have blood...but I'm really thinking about giving it up.

UPDATE: Well I tried to drink some Choc milk today and the only think I could think about is cows blood....so I don't see myself buying anymore for quite some time. But thanks I guess it will be good for me in the long run.

Yes these other people are crazy. During the milking process it isn't uncommon for the cow to bleed. In many cases the companies choose to turn this milk into chocolate or strawberry.
You would be surprised at the amount of insect parts the FDA allows in products like soup or condiments.

No! It is made of milk and chocolate. If yours has blood in it don't drink it and find out where it came from.

chocolate and strawberry milk sometimes contains small amounts of blood due to irratation and over milking of cows. in such small amounts the blood is harmless and is used for chocolate and strawberry milk due to the coloring, you dont notice it. Milk with no blood would be all your white milks.
it takes 500 gallons of blood to pass thru the utters to produce 1 gallon of milk. therefore blood in your chocolate milk is always a potential
500 gallons of blood need to pass through the udder to make one gallon of milk.
