Because they're ignorant, stupid, and don't want to be any better.

I wish I could give you the answer you're looking for, but truthfully, I will never understand people judging others because of their race. It's sad that so many people out there miss out on really great friendships, simply because they can't get pass the color of someones skin.
My children are range from age 2 to 8, so they're still very young, but from the time they started talking and understanding, we began teaching them how important it is to treat everyone equally. We're a Military family and everywhere we've moved, we've made friends with more then one black family, or Asian family, Italian family...etc... And I see that my children just don't see skin color, they see a person. I refuse to allow my children to grow-up believing that they can't have just as good of a friendship with a black person, as they can a white person.
I know there will forever be people in this world that are too ignorant to look beyond their messed up beliefs, but I know I can do the right thing and make a difference by never allowing ignorance get in the way of my good judgment.

because humans are shallow and judge books by their cover instead of waiting to see what the stories like. Sometimes though it can be hard when you see a group of youths of any colour hanging around as in groups they auto become thugs in everyones eyes as they look menaceing also its because tele depicts everyone as violent people as they only show abd stuff on tv not good stuff

people still believe in the what you see is what you get mentallity. the judge the book by its cover train of thought.
too bad.. i wish if everyone took the words of martin luther king and put them into context.

some people are shallow, they judge on your character by apperance, call them stupid, ignorant but defenatly this mustn't be the way to judge ppl..

whats inside is different too, they have a different bone structure.
Its a statistical fact that they coomit more crimes, they have kids they cant afford....its like, GET THE **** AWAY FROM US YOUR GOING TO TAKE US DOWN WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!
