I was in Tacoma, and several people insisted I have the Almond Chicken at some restaurant there. I can't remember the name, I think it was local - but they had more than one location. So where is the BEST almod chicken in Seattle or Tacoma?

Not sure about Almond Chicken, but I know a ton of great restaurants in Lakewood/Tacoma area.
The French Hen in Lakewood is AWESOME!! It's a little coffe house and bistro on Bridgeport Way SW. They're open M - F, I think, and it's just for lunch. Their number is 253.983.1313.
Another place we love is The Ram in Lakewood near the mall on 59th Ave SW. Their number is 253.584.3191. Awesome homemade chips -- Ram chips. Really nice atmosphere.
Our other favorite, favorite place is Johnnie's Greek Cafe on Bridgeport Way SW. Their number is 253.984.0789. They have an awesome menu. Their Greek Combo is awesome and huge.
Doesn't help much for almond chicken, but gives you more ideas for the area.

There are a hundreds of chinese restaurants all over Seattle and Tacoma. It would be impossible to try everyone's almond chicken. I'd have to say my Grandma makes the best though. A better question is, where the best almond chicken sauce is, because of the fact that almond chicken is basically friend chicken cutlets sliced up with gravy and almonds on top. Good luck finding a good place though!

The Oriental Gardens in Enumclaw. Kinda a drive but worth every mile! They are closed on Mondays.
