They can tell if you've had sex REALLY RECENTLY, say if there is spermicide or even semen in your vagina. But there is no way for a doctor to tell HOW you broke your hymen- it could have been from riding a bike, it could have been from sex, or you might be one of the girls whose hymen never totally covered your vaginal opening.

Yes, there are tests. But just by an examination? No. The hymen is usually broken in a very first intercourse, but it can be broken in many other ways. This is commonly through dancing, stretching, sports, and other physical activities that put strain in that region.

Yes. There is a thin barrier of skin that is penetrated when you have intercourse. If you have to ask this question, apparently you are relatively young. Please ask your doctor or an adult you can trust about protection from deadly sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy. You can catch a disease or become pregnant the very first time you have sex. Protect yourself and only ask question of an adult that you can trust.

if you're talking about a gynecologist, yes they can tell you've had sex. they can tell because of the hymen (a membrane that is broken when you lose your virginity). if its gone then they will know. but according to the law, they cant tell anyone about your visits, test results, etc... because if they do you can sue them and its illegal for them to do that. so if you're worried about people finding out about you having had sex, dont be. hope this helps! :D
