I am sorry, but i have a problem with rubbing the towel all over my face and hair when yesterday i used it on my butt. I change my towel every day and use one on my body and the other for face and hair. It also helps with drying off because if you have to dry off your whole body with wet hair all over your back, then you put your hair up, then you still have a wet back! And its getting cold these days. I have enough towels so that i do laundry about once a week.
And as far as my washcloth, i get a new one every time. I even clean those little fuzzy loofah things every time. And my hand towel gets refreshed every week unless ive had a lot of company because some people dont soap thier hands and still rub the germs all over your hand towel. And you were going to wipe your mouth on that after brushing your teeth! Now you have someone elses poo germs on your face. Thats gross, dude.

Holy cow! I just read all of the responses before mine. Are you all really so concerned about using a towel that was used yesterday? Do you wash when you are in the shower? Then hopefully, your towel isn't dirty, it's just wet. As long as you hang it up to dry and don't wad it up on the floor, it's good. I don't have the time, water, or laundry soap to wash a new towel for a family of 5 every day!

I use one towel for my hair, and one towel for the rest of my body. I wash them every 3 or 4 days. I use a fresh wash cloth every day. I am not concerned that I used it to dry my butt yesterday and my face today, cuz my butt was clean when I dried it.

Being raised in a large family that did laundry once a week, we were in the habit of having hand towels by our sinks and one large towel for bathing.

So, as many times as we washed our hands and face, we used our hand towel, and for as many times as we washed our body, we used our bath towel - and then fresh ones replaced them every laundry day.

towel for face and different one for body. Bath towels get washed after several uses. Because-first face, then to body-then generally my son puts it on the floor to drip on. So I guess it gets washed after three uses?

I don't. I use one for my hair and use one for my face and body. Obviously, I towel myself in a specific order, like face first, arms, legs...and save the bottom for last.

I also wash the towels after one use.

One towel per shower but I launder it after I use it. Don't let damp towels sit in the hamper they will stink of mold in a day.
