Vinegar is good for cleaning, but tea is bad and will stain. I would add warm water and sop it up with a white towel or paper towels. Repeat this as many times as it takes to remove the stain and the water you sop up is clear. Dry it as much as possible with a clean white towel and then let it air dry completely. It may take 24 hours.

Oxy-clean, some tap water, and a little bit of elbow grease will get it right out.
Trust me, tea n vinegar is nothing compared to black edge dressing on white carpet. But this trick will work.

The tea would present a problem. I'd try pouring some white vinegar on the spot and place a towel over it and set it sit for a couple of hours. If that doesn't do it, try Krud Kutter.
