Romantic Love, is characterized by a mix of emotional and sexual desire. Can you prove this argument?

You think that you are in love with someone, and boast about your love for that person till you get married. And you might be dating that person for a long time ( 5 years?). But within 2-3 months of your marriage you will get divorced. Why?

Because, You were not really in love. You were mutually attracted to that person, and after getting married you realise that your sex doesn't match.

Don't get me wrong its not only sex that is needed for love. there are other things as well... You can only love a person romantically if you have shared an intense sexual relationship with that peson. There is no other way.

sex before marriage (SBM) cases does not count in this)

Well that isn't true...My parents were married for 35 years and they didn't have sex till they were married.She told me that when she saw him she knew he was the one.You seem to be forgetting that it takes work to keep a marriage from falling apart.I know cause I watched my parents through good and bad times. Just because u didn't want to work at it doesn't mean there isn't romantic love.

The simple truth is that 'love' is not a permanent state. Even among people who remain married/committed to each other the nature of their relationship changes over time, moving away from the initial intense sexual attraction. Separation/divorce often occurs because people don't have enough of an underlying connection to sustain their relationship after the initial sexual attraction weakens.

Who dates for five years without sex and then marries? In those five years....were they not at least touching, kissing, wriggling around with clothes on?? Your theory would be a very isolated one saying romantic love for 5yrs then divorce after 2-3mons of marriage!!
