Excellent question -- we should all start to look after our own first.

I don't think that she was racist. It is rude for anyone who speaks another language to be in a group and eliminate someone from the conversation by speaking a language that everyone is not familiar with. My son went through a similar situation with the Asian children in his class and when the teacher set up a meeting with the Asian children's parents, they didn't see anything wrong with their children not speaking English or not speaking to anyone else in the class other than each other. If you ask me they were the racist ones. And by no means do I think that all Asians are this way but there are some. Why is everyone picking on the young lady and no one asking why the other children would be so rude as to speak in a language that only they understood? How were they supposed to work together if they couldn't understand each other? She had every right to ask to be switched.

This is England and the schools teach in english, so is it not unreasonable for foreign pupils to at least converse in english whilst having a school lesson. The teacher should have been more on the ball and put pupils who cant speak english into another group or the schoolgirl into a group she could relate to. The schools are pandering too much to a political agenda to the detriment of our British born pupils. It was certainly a sad thing that it had to come to the schoolgirl being charged, she is only fourteen and still a child. Shame on the school I say.

I cannot seriously believe that a 14 year old girl was put in a police cell for 3 and a half hours for just ''ALLEGEDLY'' making racist remarks... if she had just refused to sit with them without the racism .. I do not believe that she would have been arrested.
... and quite frankly don't belive this version of events anyway
The Asians may have been rude ... but I do not excuse racism

'White' people are being arrested left right and centre for the slightest of things to do with the ethnics.
Codie was RIGHT in walking out of the classroom as she could not participate in the conversation with the rest of the group, as the group consisted of people who could not speak English.
This country, or so I'm led to believe, is an English speaking country, so why on earth weren't these Urdu speaking pupils taught the language of the country that they now live in.........and why was the only English speaking person in that classroom forced out of the room due to the feeling of unease.....
Good old GREAT BRITAIN.......
Stick to your guns Codie...you can't let these do gooders carry on screwing the world into the sh1te.....the law's an a$s and is totally in favour of protecting the Ethnic Minority...the law is a coward.....The law should NEVER have got involved.

She's not racist, why were the others not pulled up from speaking another language, totally ommitting the girl in an English school?
How the hell was a schoolgirl put in a police cell.
She was not being racist.

Yet another Example of how the Indigenous Population are now being persecuted in our own country in favour of the thousands of Immigrants who are Rapidly taking over and destroying our Culture and way of Life , to subject a Pupil ,Codie, to this sickening treatment is not only "Child Abuse" it is an outrage beyond belief , this clearly shows the Danger that great Britain is in , Life as we know is being erroded at a very fast pace by the Scum of the "Politically Correct" brigade , As for the Demented Teacher and the Lunatic Police responsible for this Debacle it is beyond belief, but I suppose all concerned with treating a 14 year old Schoolgirl in this manner will Lie their way out of their guilt .pat each other on the back and Nudge Nudge , Wink Wink. whereas in reality they should have been SACKED ,

This certainly sounds racist, but does bring into question why we allow people into the UK to reside, that cannot speak English.
The ethnic minorities have built their own mosques to worship in, so why do they not build their own schools to teach their own children in, who could then take English as a second language to study, just as the British/English children take French or German as a second language?
However as we are all to aware, racism only works the one way.

I cannot imagine for one minute that a group of students doing GCSE's would be unable to speak English, admitted it is rude to speak a language which excludes one or more of the participants, but this issue is being blown out of context. The question (??) here is written with a lot of bias and all the facts have not been outlined - there are obvious gaps in the re-telling of this incident. Did anybody hear the teacher's side of the story?
Personally, it doesn't bother me one bit whether people around me speak in English, Turkish or Gibberish - I'm not that paranoid or self centred to think that they are talking about me. Apart from which English is a widely spoken language in Pakistan, even my 5 year old nephew speaks, reads and writes English despite the fact that he has never been to England or any other English speaking country for that matter.
Don't think for one minute that Asian or Pakistani students are likely to hold you back in your academic endeavours. All my nephews and nieces were born in the UK and six of them went to Pakistan for two years. They were all doing very well in their respective schools but failed the entrance exams for the schools in Pakistan because they were lacking in their Math and Science subjects.
So I'm afraid your theory that "Poor Codie" was being held back in her Science Course work does not hold water.

Not racist- they must learn to speak to English, the first language of this country is English, so if you not bothered or don't make an effort to learn it, they can go back to where they came from, i am sure there war torn or poverty stricken countries are a much better place to live.
