The question is a little difficult to answer, because whether a person is telling a lie, half-truth, full-truth... whatever they are saying or doing always reveals something about their true self. So, yes, I suppose whatever I did while the plane was preparing to crash would reveal something about my true self.. However, if you are asking would I scream out my life story and tell every "bad deed" I had ever done and asked forgiveness from the passenger sitting next to me, probably not. My life would probably flash before my eyes as people who have had near-death experiences say it does.. and maybe I would scream, cry, freeze and remain quiet.. hug the person next to me whether I'd ever met them before in my life.. run to the cockpit to try to help fly the plane.. I don't have a clue what I would do, but I'm sure whatever I would do would certainly reveal something about my true self.
