click your mouse`s right button and after click properties, and u gonna see desktop, screen saver and stuff. Click settings button. When you click settings button, you will see, screen resolution and color quality stuff on the below. screen resolution have two choices, less and more. arrange that arrow to "1024 by 768 pixels"
Its gonna help you.

It might be your screen resolution or your windows theme.
To adjust your screen resolution, go to your desktop [windows key + D]. Then right click & select "properties". From the menu that appears, you will see a line of tabs [Themes, Desktop, Screen Saver, Appearance, Settings]. Select "settings". If you look a bit further down, you wil see something called "Screen Resolution" with a slider bar & "less" and "more" options. Slide towards "more" and everything should get smaller.Your monitor may go black for a few seconds and thats normal. Experiment with what size if comfortable for you & when you find the right one you can select "ok" rather "than cancel"

If that doesnt work, follow the same steps as before only, when the menu popsup, select "appearance". Go down to "font size" to select your preferred font size.

Hopefully that should do it.

Based on your description, I'll "assume" that you mean all your application windows and icons on your desktop.

Close (or minimize) all your program windows and right-click anywhere on your desktop (away from any icons) and from the options menu that pops up, select Properties. This is your display settings window and along the tabs at the top of the window, select Settings. The bar slider may have changed to near the left and you may slide it to the right and then select Apply. The new settings will take effect only for several seconds until the most optimal display size and visibility best suits you, only then, select Yes to the new settings.

I hope this is indeed the change that you've experienced as it's a relatively a simple re-adjustment.

Good luck. :)

I am not sure I can help you. I work on a Mac computer, in the system preferences you have a fill called Displays this allows you to change the display setting, if you are no windows there must be a similar think but I would not know how to get there find a friend who has some knowledge of your system. Good luck
