I'm saving up my allowance for Christmas, and I want to know which is the better portable console to buy. Please give me pros and cons, and if you can, please give me the features of each console and any extra equipment I might need also. Thanks.

Hey, thnx for your answers, keep answering. But I also have another question. Well, three.
First of all, are there ANY Nintendo Ds game able to play on game boy advance?
Next question: Are there any other games from other consoles that are playable on Game Boy Advance Sp?
Last question. Ok, by Christmas right now, I will probably have $122. But a Nintendo DS is $145 or more WITHOUT a game. So, should I keep saving my allowance untill I have enough for DS (considering I have to pay it ALL with my money), or should I buy a Game Boy Advance SP, or is there a DS for less than $122?
Ca you plz answer these questions also? I would really appreciate it. I would give you extra points for answering all of them, but I can't do that T_T. Thnx.

The DS, guaranteed. It has a ton of awesome games, plus, it can play game boy advance games! The only downside is that it can't play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, but if you really want those, you can probly find a cheap game boy color for about 5 bucks.

You should buy a Nintendo DS. It would allow you to play GBA games as well as DS games. Save up for the DS at least you have the latest handheld and it is the only one with the touch screen.
You don't need any other additional accessories aside from the pouch where you will put the DS, but of course you could make one of those.

A nintendo DS is way better you could play Gameboy SP games on the DS

I have an SP, I think it has the same features as the other game boys. I like it because it is compact. The others seem kind of bulky . You can play games from a slightly older model but I don't know which one.

The DS is amazing. The graphic quality is.. astonishing for a hand held device.
Plus, you can play GBC, GBA, *AND* DS games on it. Go with the DS, you wont regret it.
