I don't think you could find a better movie for that purpose. It shows that, while they 'act' scary, they're really just big, cuddly, friendly creatures.

well this is not the smartest question but in the end it does show that monsters are good and not so bad if the kids can get over the monsters scaring children in the biggning then i think it might be ok

Yes, because the monsters might scare him at first but make sure he watchs the whole movie so that he can see that monsters are nice even though they are not real.

The movie helped my son a lot, he was scared to death of the monster in the closet until he watched that movie, now he's fine. Told me mom, if the monster ever comes out of the closet again, I will just laugh at him, it makes for sleep filled nights now.

I think so. It's a really funny movie. And the monsters aren't doing anything to try to scare any kids through most of the movie--especially the end.

Sure, monsters inc. will probably help. Its a really funny movie. And it actually spoofs the monsters in the closet idea.

yes it is because those monsters are very nice to children but at the begining of the movie they scare children until one of the monsters brings a humman girl to the monster world/ it is eligal for monsters to bring humans to their world so mike and sully get stuck with boo. she was brought by ronold which is commbeting
with sully. well its a good movie to show.

i love this movie...and i think that it is a great movie to show kids who are scared of monsters because it flips it around and makes kids think about "monsters" on a different level...that maybe THEY are scared of US .....so then children are not as frightened by them anymore.

Good luck but Yes b/c in the end it shows them as caring and lovable on how they (Mike and Sully) take care of Boo and that they could do the same thing instead of scarring them to make them laugh. If they r not afraid in the beginning they get rid of the door.
