In the past I have used the original bittorrent client but ive found that certain releases make my pc slow and hang. Ive tried reinstalling various releases from oldversion.com but they all hang as soon as i open them. I really like the client cos its simple to look and i dont like the new release. Any ideas?

Hi, I use a program called uTorrent. I find this works rather well compared to some of the other ones out there. Limewire Basic is good for regular p2p downloads, but wouldnt recommend the pro version. Try uTorrent as I found this one to work better than alot of the other torrent clients. I use torrentspy.com to get the torrents. Never had a bad one! Good Luck

I would recommend using Limewire Pro. It does cost money but you can download it off Limewire Basic, just be careful as small files are usually viruses. Limewire has many useful options and it works behind firewalls, which is a big plus for me. If some releases make your computer slow and hang, do a spyware and virus scan because some of these releases are infested with such.

µTorrent is the international's commonest BitTorrent shopper. truly some the coolest factors found in different BitTorrent clientele are found in µTorrent, consisting of bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS vehicle-downloading and Mainline DHT (like minded with BitComet). also, µTorrent helps the Protocol Encryption joint specification (like minded with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.sixty 3 and above) and peer replace. ====== ======
