Incredibly cold. Scottish winters tend not to be snowy in the central belt area until around February or March. So if you were looking for a warm walk think again. It's probably best to go in April when the weather is slightly warmer and the new spring plants are out.

Hello Daniela
Not a lot of snow in March only really on the biggest of our Murnos. It is normally wet and can be windy. Always remember to tell someone where your going and a rough time of arrival. A few folk get into trouble each year.
Take care and enjoy yourself

Can be bitterly cold in March. Could still be a little snow in the high ground but certainly plenty rain & high winds.
My advice would be to postpone the trip until May/June.
