How often does apple update their processors as in G3, G4, G5?

When do you think the G6 will come out and do you think it will be released with Leopard OS X

Where have you been? Apple has switched from PowerPC (G3, G4, G5) to Intel processors. All the new Macs have Duo Cores or Duo 2 Cores, except for the Mac Pro, which has 2 dual core Xeon processors for a total of 4 very fast processors!

There will never be another "G" series as they were PowerPC based. All new Macintoshes are Intel based.
